If any of you have been following my blog, you know I just started a new running regiment. I was getting a little better each day and feeling great about it.
My last run was on a treadmill, and every single step I took hurt. I figured I was just sore from doing something new. But it’s been two days, and while the pain has subsided, it is sharper than one would suspect. The symptoms I have, are classic symptoms for shin splints, though it could be something else.
So the plan now is to heal this before I resume my running. This setback, is incredibly dissapointing to me as I was starting to get very excited about this.
Today I had a heavy work out using the Eliptical trainer for 20 minutes, some floor exercises, and a little bit of weights. Hopefully, I can get started running again soon.
